Here at EFBC, I am the Pastor of Marriage, Family and Youth. One of the things I oversee, is our youth discipleship program for 6th-12th grade. My wife and I became saved and baptized in this church while attending youth group and after graduating high school, we remained on the leadership team for several years. So, stepping into this role just seems to fit as we both understand the importance youth ministry and the potential eternal impact it can have. I count it a privilege to serve alongside parents as they teach their children the gospel.
Becky and I were married in 2004. We reside in Estacada and have three wonderful children, Hunter, Kaitlyn and Gunner.
I was raised right here in Estacada. After graduating from high school in 2000, I went on to earn my bachelor’s degree in health education with the intent on becoming a PE teacher, but God at times reveals His plans and they might be different, as was the case for me. Long story short, I eventually found my desire to strengthen families, to be my calling. I moved my focus into working with couples both married and premarital. I want to see families thrive, and the best way to do that is to support and encourage healthy Christ centered marriages.
